Podstatou projektu je zvýšit ochranu, odolnost a bezpečnost prvků železniční infrastruktury a poznatky projektu převést do praxe prostřednictvím třech metodik. Harmonogram je rozdělen do jednotlivých let, které se dále člení na tři části. Každá z částí směřuje k jednomu z hlavních výstup projektu. Bod 1 směřuje k Metodice pro realizaci technických opatření ke zvýšení ochrany měkkých cílů železniční infrastruktury. Bod 2 směřuje k Metodice evakuace cestujících z prostor železničních stanic s využitím mikroskopických modelů pohybu osob. Bod 3 směřuje k Metodika postupů sdílení a poskytování informací o hrozbách a incidentech na prvky dopravní infrastruktury

The aim of the project is to increase the protection, resilience and security of railway infrastructure elements against current and potential future threats. Research will focus mainly on (1) prediction of significant threats to railway infrastructure and subsequent design of technical measures to raise the level of protection for railway infrastructure soft targets and related infrastructure of other transport operators, (2) protection of passengers during evacuation from railway stations (3) information about threats and incidents at transport infrastructure elements.
