Onlinové techniky mají své místo ve světě řešení sporů již řadu let, ale dosud byly využívány zejména jako alternativa k rozhodování státních soudů, tedy jako soukromé platformy, zejména v oblasti e-commerce. Jejich podstatou jsou procesy odehrávající se plně nebo převážně onlinově a zahrnují jak konsensuální techniky (mediace, vyjednávání, facilitace), tak i sporné (litigace či arbitráž). The objectives of the ODR project are primarily: Preparation for the introduction of state online courts in the Czech Republic. Preparation of the basic analytical and public awareness steps necessary for the future introduction of ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) to the Czech civil justice and development of the first Czech online state courts.
