Aplikačně specifické počítačové systémy je vhodné navrhovat pokud možno plně automatizovanými metodami, které vedou na vysoce optimalizovaná obvodová i programová řešení, která je možné bezproblémově paralelizovat (s cílem maximalizovat výkonnost) či aproximovat (s cílem snížit příkon). Cílem projektu je navrhnout a na typických aplikacích ověřit nové algoritmy a výpočetní platformy uplatnitelné při návrhu, optimalizaci a realizaci vysoce aplikačně specifických výpočetních systémů.
