On the project
In this work, comprehensive methodology for Lithium-ion batteries Dual-Target CT measurements using Rigaku nano3DX device will be developed, describing both the sample preparation and the optimal DTCT acquisition settings. Software-based tool for tomographic reconstruction and post-processing of such acquired DTCT data will be further developed for optimal visualization of LIB’s internal structure, enabling analysis of the border between the metal electrodes and the separator layer, in terms of Li-particles sizes distribution or the electrodes thickness etc.
