Project detail

Development of 2D MXene/Bio-gum based hybrid inks for 3D printed energy strage devices

Duration: 01.03.2020 — 28.02.2021

Funding resources

On the project

Time and advancement in technology has brought several changes to the printing strategy at every phase.3D printing from 2D material ink such as MXene via extrusion in a layer by layer method is one such popular method. Bio waste tree gums will be used as an additive to tune the viscocity of ink and provide good integrity to the 3D printed structure. The novelty of this project is achievement of miniaturised 3D printed solid-state microsupercapacitor showing high power and energy density, longer cycle life and safe handling.Use of aqueous solvent make it eco-friendly approach as well.
