Projekt cílí na průmyslový výzkum v oblasti automotive. Konkrétně pak na zlepšení interoperability proprietárních či vzájemně nespolupracujících systémů. Toho bude dosaženo pomocí multi-protokolového systému v režimu master, sdružující komunikační rozhraní a poskytující potřebnou interoperabilitu.

Due to the growing digitization in the implementation of the phenomenon of Industry 4.0 and the completely changing market area, the project is responding to a new opportunity by focusing on research and development of complex solutions competing not only in price but also in utility. The focus of the project is on three basic main goals, namely: (i) Software module for the EASYCON PRO (Software) cloud solution; (ii) Software module for the control unit (Software); and (iii) Prototype of the new ESCON 2.0 switchboard (prototype). As part of the installation of communication units, cloud solutions and other elements within the idea of ​​Industry 4.0, it has become a trend to create proprietary solutions that lock users to one brand and it enters the so-called closed cycle of maintenance and purchasing services from one supplier. As part of the project, we solve this problem not only by standardizing the solution itself, but by providing interoperable elements throughout the chain. Be it the cloud solution itself, which will provide the necessary functionalities for data collection, as well as their processing from elements from the EASYCON portfolio, as well as other companies. Innovation is seen here at the process level and in increasing efficiency and service delivery. Undesirable conditions and errors occur when working on production lines. These problems and conditions can be detected and possibly predicted by the newly developed project outputs. It will then be possible to avoid these conditions by using the output communication and action components of the switchboard connected to the production lines using modern communication protocols.
