On the project

The project focuses on the development of novel material platform based on photopolymerized 3D printed nanocomposite superstructures with tailored structure from nano- to macroscale. Fundamental issues associated with the development of new highly efficient photoinitiators, nanoparticle impact on the mechanism of photopolymerization reaction, nanoparticle assembly into hierarchical superstructures upon the photopolymerization, and structure-property relations in these superstructures will be investigated. Such structures could address the current need for advanced and highly customizable materials usable in the next generation applications such as traffic, energetics, or fabrication of sensors.

Description in Czech
V rámci tohoto projektu budou zkoumány otázky základního výzkumu spojené s vývojem nových vysoce efektivních fotoiniciátorů, vlivem nanočástic na mechanismus fotopolymerní reakce, uspořádáváním nanočástic do hierarchických superstruktur během fotopolymerní reakce a strukturně-vlastnostní charakterizace těchto superstruktur.
