On the project

Since Laser-matter interaction in LIBS experiment is still not fully understood, goal of this project is to bring insight to plasma behaviour. This would lead to improvement of LIBS analytical performance, as well as introducing new possible way of data processing. In order to achieve this goal, several steps will have to be carried out: • Observation of the laser-induced plasma under different experimental conditions • Use of several experimental methods for plasma imaging • Data processing: Image segmentation and correlation with characteristic signal of Laser induced plasma

Description in English
The aim of the project is to create a competition for student research grants and its pilot verification. The creation of a new competition will contribute to the development of cross-sectional skills of doctoral students, and thus acquire competencies for work in science and research in the future and increase their success in submitting scientific projects to national and international competitions.
