On the project

The CMOS technology is nearing its fundamental limits as the dimensions of the devices reach the atomic scale. Spin waves are a prospective beyond-CMOS concept, which promises significant reduction of power consumption and change of paradigm to wave-based computing. One of the biggest challenges to tackle before commercialization is the effectivity of spin wave excitation. In this project we propose a novel approach how to create power-less spin wave source using superparamagnetic nanoparticles.
