On the project

Low Energy Ion Scattering spectroscopy (LEIS) can provide qualitative information about the topmost atomic layer of sample surface, but quantification process is still challenging. Improving the theoretical model by studying charge exchange process between the helium projectile and bismuth as a target atom is supposed to be done and its oscillatory behaviour should be studied. New theoretical definition together with published LEIS spectra will strongly improve quantitative analysis and further research of selected materials.
