On the project

One of the necessary tools of heat exchangers R&D is numerical modeling. However, typical hollow fiber heat exchanger has a complex geometry, which makes numerical analysis challenging. In this project we will digitalize manufactured heat exchangers using CT technology. Digitalized models will be then used in high performance thermal and fluid flow numerical analyses. Results of simulations will improve the understanding of fluid flow and heat transfer nature in HE and facilitate the R&D process.
