On the project

Projekt plynule navazuje na předchozí řešené projekty obou uchazečů a využívá tak dosažených výsledků i know-how řešitelů vyúsťující ve vytvoření interdisciplinárního týmu a posunu problematiky do komplexní roviny kritické infrastruktury. Konkrétně se projekt zaměřuje na část elektroenergetickou a komunikační (tedy z pohledu datových komunikačních sítí, dohledových řídících sítí a relevantních rizik).

Description in English
The project merges three research centers (CVVOZE, SIX & IT4I) into an interdisciplinary research team with joint know-how (modelling, power-grid, communication and super-computing) with focus on examining the interconnected (critical) infrastructure (control, data and power) to strengthen resilience, robustness and preparedness against potential risks, threats or domino-effects. The outputs of the project will help to understand the internal and hidden relationships and their possible negative effects. The results will provide a source for user organizations (public and private) to plan, optimize and expand these (critical) infrastructures. Socio-scientific contribution of the project is guaranteed via openness of the considered solutions in compliance with the principes of open science.
