On the project

The project focuses on the development of electromobility and battery storage using 2nd life batteries that were firstly used in electric vehicles. As part of the project, a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 300 kWh will be created and a fast charging station with a power of 150 kW will be connected to it. This battery storage system will be tested in practice in Prague. The project will include testing of batteries used in electric vehicles to predict their lifetime in 2nd life applications. The data obtained will be used to create a mathematical-physical models of battery ageing, which will be complemented with data from the test run of the created battery storage system.
