On the project
Pump-as-turbine (PaT) is favorable option in terms of investment costs for small hydropower plants and is frequently used for pressure energy recovery in water distribution networks or process industry. Proposed project is aiming on building strategies for digitalisation of PaT in its design and operation by employing predictive maintenance approaches, computational fluid dynamics and digital twin.
