On the project

Description in English
Membrane walls are used as a structural element for the production of boilers and other systems for burning energy raw materials. The project goal is to develop technology and a prototype machine for a) reliable and automated preparation of the edge geometry of connecting flags on bimetallic membrane walls with a length of 6-18 m provided with a surface weld made of Inconel 625, and b) subsequent welding of these walls into larger units. The project primarily focuses on research and development of a prototype device working in accordance with the principles of Industry 4.0, which will be able to automatically adjust the edge of the connecting flag of bimetallic MeS in order to create united and geometrically defined surfaces, and subsequently weld these surfaces together.
