Description in English
The goal of the project is design of a series of industrial steam turbines for modern power generation in the power range from 40 to 80 MW, meeting the current requirements for flexibility. The project builds on the long-term R&D activities of the main applicant in the technical development of steam turbines towards increasing thermodynamic efficiency, reliability, the width of the possible operating range and the speed of changes in operating modes to ensure the source flexibility. At the same time, the project brings to the main applicant an expansion of the steam turbine portfolio with higher power ranges. Other participants benefit from effective cooperation in the project by sharing technical documents with the main applicant and expanding their own know-how in the addressed areas.
