Cílem projektu je umožnit síťovým správcům monitorovat cloudové aplikace způsobem, který jim umožní včas detekovat případné problémy a adekvátně na ně reagovat. Uživatel tak získá informace o tem, jaká je dostupnost a výkonnost jednotlivých cloudových aplikací. V případě problému bude zároveň možné identifikovat, zda se jedná o chybu v lokální síti, chybu na straně aplikace nebo chybu v síti na straně poskytovatele služby. Toho bude dosaženo s využitím technik aktivního síťového monitorování, prostřednictvím kterých bude možné odesílat uměle vytvořené požadavky na cloudové aplikace, a analýzou jejich odpovědí se bude zjišťovat stav aplikací. Výsledné řešení bude integrovat aktivní techniky s pasivními, čímž vznikne unikátní hybridní řešení.

The project aims to allow network administrators to monitor cloud applications in a way that will enable them to detect potential problems in time and respond adequately to them. The user obtains information about the availability and performance of individual cloud applications. When a problem appears, it will also be possible to identify whether it is caused by an error in the local network, an error on the side of the application, or an error in the network on the side of the service provider. This will be achieved using active network monitoring techniques, through which it will be possible to send artificially created requests to cloud applications and analyze their responses to determine the health of the applications.
