On the project
Pyrolytic Carbon (PyC) is one of the most attractive electrode materials for electrochemical energy storage devices (EESDs). This project aims to advance the field of energy storage by integrating advanced carbonaceous nanocomposites into fabricating complex 3D PyC supercapacitor electrodes. This novel and straightforward approach is based on functionalizing the acrylate-based photocurable resin by incorporating multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and high-accurate masked-stereolithography (M-SLA) 3D printing followed by pyrolysis.
