On the project
The project aims to fabricate nano-sized synthetic antiferromagnet (SAF) waveguides to explore spin wave propagation without external magnetic fields. SAF has unique antiparallel magnetizations configuration which can help to overcome the limits of the materials currently used in magnonics, which is low power consumption CMOS alternative based on spin waves. Although SAF are currently in the spotlight of the magnonic community, there is no study dealing with SAF waveguides, and I am capable of fabrication and measurement such system.
