On the project
I propose to improve the current 500 MHz DNP-NMR system by building a new multi-nuclear probe. The current version performs non-optimally in NMR experiments and provides only a limited number of experiments, which might be extended by introducing a modular probe head into the design. For such task, simulations of radiofrequency, microwave and magnetic properties must be done, as well as a 3D model of the imrpoved probe, after which it can be manufactured and its proper function can be experimentally verified.
