On the project
This research focuses on the comprehensive investigation and quantification of fatigue behavior in HSSs under varied conditions. Key areas of study include evaluating fatigue performance in welded joints and analyzing the impact of defects (weld, corrosion) on fatigue life. Defect parameters are determined using tomographic data, linking geometry to fatigue behavior. The findings provide insights into optimizing design and durability of HSS components, particularly under cyclic loading.
