On the project
This study develops 3D-printable, pH-sensitive hydrogels with antibacterial and pro-healing copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) for customized diabetic wound treatment. Using a carboxymethylcellulose-based matrix, CuNPs are incorporated to ensure controlled release and strong antibacterial effect. The hydrogels will be evaluated for 3D-printability, chemical structure, rheology, and antibacterial activity. This multifunctional wound dressing aims to enhance diabetic ulcer healing through a tailored and effective approach.
