On the project
This project develops a microfluidic system for real-time detection of PFAS in water, integrating nanoparticles with electrochemical and indirect optical sensing. Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles enhance selectivity, while microfluidics ensures efficient sample handling of only a few microliters. The system offers a portable, rapid, and sensitive solution for on-site monitoring, addressing limitations of current PFAS detection methods.
