On the project
This project aims to enhance phase-contrast imaging in X-ray computed tomography by developing a 3D phase retrieval algorithm applied in the domain of reconstructed tomograms. This innovative approach enables accurate material localization while preserving spatial resolution, allowing for more precise and straightforward analysis of measured objects. The key objectives include implementing the algorithm, developing a localization method, and conducting qualitative and quantitative comparisons with currently used phase retrieval technique.
