On the project

Polycrystalline transparent ceramics enable visible and infrared light transmission, making them essential for several applications. Their market is rapidly growing, but conventional ceramics often fail to meet modern demands. High Entropy Ceramics (HECs) improve properties like hardness and stability, yet achieving a single-phase, pore-free structure remains challenging. Sintering aids offer a solution, but their behaviour in HECs compared to conventional ceramics and different sintering methods is still unexplored.
