On the project
This project investigate antimicrobial resistance within livestock gut microbiome using state-of-the-art approaches of metagenomics, metaproteomic, full-lenght 16S sequencing and in-silico metabolomics. By integrating these approaches we aim to shed light on antibacteria resistane genes (ARGs) dissemination, microbial composition and pathogenicity, metabolic pathways and the impact of antibiotic exposure, contributing to AMR mitigation strategies.
