The main limited parametr of ash for utilisation in building industry is the sulphur content. It must be, expressed in form of 503, lower than 3% b.w. The situation in flying ash further utilisation changes. The changing conditions can be described as follows: - old types kettles and indrons in heating centres and power stations are replaced by new progressive ones mainly based on the fluid technology. Finely ground CaCO3 is mixed to coal which reacts with suplhates and so it is transformed to Ca504 I(anhydrite). The result is that the content of anhydrite in flaying ash may be several times larger value than is prescribed limit for utilisation in building industry.Most of power stations in Czech republic are equipped by technology for desulphuricationof gases based on so called wet way. The content of sulphates in flying ash depends on their content in coal used for combustion. All sources of coal with low content of sulphuric compounds have been exploited. Therefore the volume of
