Description in EnglishReproducibility of ultrasound applications and namely image quality in ultrasound diagnostics are primarily dependent on parameters and properties of transducers in ultrasound probes. To the main parameters of ultrasound probes belong operating frequencylongitudinal and lateral spatial resolution, sensitivity, beamwidth, focusing zone. Intensity of ultrasound beam is also important specification. This proposed project is aimed at the analysis of radiation of transducer systems in diagnostic probes. Theaim is to build a library of program models for selected types of probes and their validation using a unique ultrasound measuring system. This system will use an ultrasound measuring tub with a hydrophone for maping ultrasound fields. Following up with the European legislation IEC, EN (EU), it is intended that the project yields in creating a standard methodology for measurement and evaluation of probes, assuming the intensity of generated ultrasound and electromagnetic compatibility requirement.That
