A current methodology of analysing traffic accidents uses several theoretical methods for computing of driving manoeuvres of motor vehicles. So far, these computations have not been sufficiently verified by practical experiments. To verify different computational methods and computer programmes, it is necessary to obtain real driving parameters of vehicles in different driving situations. The goal of the project is, in the first year to prepare and in the second year to realise a series of experiments related to driving manoeuvres (transverse displacement, curve driving, etc.), where driving parameters and geometry of a vehicle motion will be measured. Based on these experiments, a methodology for expertise experiments and practical analysis of trafficaccidents will be worked out.
