The aim of the project is the presentation of research carried at Czech universities and oriented to areas of foundry technology and materials engineering, at the FONDEX 2000 International Fair held in Brno on October 24-27,2000. The presentation will bein the form of an exposition in the join exhibition stand of the participating universities. Overviews of the science-research activities, characteristic features and solution results of research tasks will be given on grafical panels or shown as exhibits in the exposition. Audiovisual techniques will also be used in the presentation. Several computer sites where topical software programs will be presented will form part of the exposition. As regards to content form of presentation, the exposition willalso focus on increasing the students' interest in studying this branches of engineering and on the possibilities of finding application in practise. Also publicized will be the result of cooperation with foreign universities.
