On the project

Description in English
The aim of the project is the study of dependance of the energetic efficiency of axial high-speed impellers with profiled or strength-profiled blades on the rate of their erosion and corrosion at mixing of solid suspension in liquid. During the long termexperiments the changes of the blade shape (profile) and mass will be investigated, as well as, the main process characteristics of the stirrers (impeller power input and pumping capacity) will be determined in dependance of the degree of their blades erosion and corrosion. Following independent variables will be considered: impeller blade shape (profile) as well as its frequency of revolution (impeller speed), and size, type and concentration of solid particles in suspension and pH suspension. Resultofexperiments will be evaluated with respect to the theoretical considerations about the influence of the rate of impeller blade erosion and corrosion on the energetic efficiency of the axial high-speed impellers.
