On the project

Description in English
The aim of proposed project is: l. To get new a piece of knowledge concerning the thermodynamic and diffusion characteristics P and C in steels. 2. To derive a theoretical model which will make it possible to evaluate the concentration data of P and C inthe given weld joints measured after diffusion anneals in the temperature interval 500 to 1100 °C. This model will also make it possible to predict P and C redistribution in steel weld joints presuming that the necessary diffusion and thermodynamic characteristics will be at disposal together with chemical composition of the steels. 3. To derive a model which will make it possible to describe the concentration heterogeneity of P and Fe in the steel ingots Fe-P after casting and to express the heterogeneity decrease in the course of the following heat treatment.
