Redistribution of carbon and nitrogen in the neighbourhood of homogeneous and heterogeneous weld joint: of creep resisting martensitic steel type P9l and its modiftcations can be of considerable effect on the structural stability of joints due to long term high-temperature exploitation and, consequently, also on their mechanical, corrosion and other properties. Heart of the matter of proposed project constists in the study o: simultaneous diffusion of carbon, nitrogen and selected substitution elementsin homogeneous and hetereneous weld joints of the steel P9l in the temperature interval from 848 to 973 K ( 10?3K) for period: of time ranging from 1 to 1000 h (or as much as I 0.000 h). The study of structural stability of heat affected zones, carbonised and decarbonized areas will be realized subsequently.
