Original Abstract
This article presents computational approaches to verification of an enhanced mechanical efficiency cranktrain design and its vibration analysis. Mechanical efficiency enhancing consists in crankshaft main bearing reduction and there is investigated the influence upon crankshaft power losses, crankshaft pulley torsional vibration and main bearing load. The computational model is assembled as well as numerically solved in Multi-Body System MSC ADAMS.
