Original Abstract
Since 90s years the renewed interest of the last century in accelerator driven systems for transmutation of nuclear spent fuel and an utilization of nuclear weapons for electrical production is obvious in many nuclear countries. One of the possible ways how to design such systems is the use of molten nuclear fuel in the fluoride matrix, which is very promising from nowadays point of view and exist a lot of experiences from 50s and 70s years. Therefore in the framework of the join project of Energovýzkum Brno, Ltd. and Brno University of Technology - Institute of Power Engineering studies on selected problems of fluoride salt technology and heat removal from a transmutor and conversion into electrical energy have been started.
