Original Abstract

This paper describes system identification techniques based on the autoregressive (AR) modelling and on the autoregressive modelling with exogenous input (ARX). These methods are utilized to estimate modal parameters (natural frequencies, damping ratios) from measured data in time. The AR modelling was applied to the measured impulse response of the compressor turbine blade and the ARX modeling was applied to a space equipment mechanic structure excited by uncontrolled vibrations.
