Advanced Crankshaft for Low Power Losses

Original Abstract
This article presents computational approaches to verification of low-power-losses crankshaft design and its vibration analysis. Reduction of power losses consists in decrease of the number of crankshaft main bearings and there is investigated the influence upon the crankshaft pulley torsional vibration and the main bearings load. The computational model is assembled as well as numerically solved in Multi-Body System and the modally reduced bodies are also incorporated into it.
