Original Abstract
The authors evaluate the applicability of different numerical methods for the solution of practical problems related to material engineering. In this context, the paper presents various approaches to solving the transmission of electromagnetic waves through a multilayer material that consists of environments with different material properties. The proposed solutions can be used, for example, in the modelling of the propagation of electromagnetic waves in metamaterials and nanostructures.
Keywords
Reflection, refraction, electromagnetic waves, multilayered materials, finite element method, FEM and ANSYS program.
