Original Abstract
Reconstruction and rehabilitation of building exterior shell require increasing demands on the thermal insulation properties of materials, particularly regarding the reconstruction of elements loaded with high humidity. In these cases, it is necessary to use particular materials with high open porosity, low thermal conductivity and good mechanical properties. Especially, requirements for the rendering systems, both internally and externally, are increasingly restive. There is no thermal insulation that can be applied with plasters to give insulating function but also provide very good mechanical properties. In this paper, the results of research on the development of lightweight thermal insulation plasters with lightweight aggregates based on waste glass and using alternative raw materials are discussed, which are finely milled with metakaolin and fly ash. When developing new plaster mixture for remediation and thermal insulation of buildings, the main goal is to optimize thermal and mechanical properties and to obtain a balance performance.
