Original Abstract

High temperatures (i. e. due to fire, in furnace and kiln, etc.) cause significant changes in mechanical behaviour of composite materials. The notched beams made of magnesium-phosphate composite submitted to high temperatures from 20 to 1000°C were subjected to three-point bending tests and after that compression test on fragments. There are described some results from these experiments and evaluated fracture parame-ters in dependance on temperature in this paper.
