Original Abstract
The authors present a measuring method for tension and compression elasticity moduli evaluation at materials used in thin layers. The method is based on a four-point-bending test realized using a beam with rectangular cross section. Strains are measured on the upper and lower sides of the beam using electric resistance strain gauges. A mathematical theory was derived enabling to evaluate elasticity moduli in tension and compression from the measured strains by a solution of a system of two algebraic equations. The method is convenient for evaluation of elastic moduli at plasmatic coatings where a inter-layer must be created between the plasmatic coating and the basic material in some cases, as well.
