Tato přednáška popisuje metodu struktivně - taktilního modelování, která má na Fakultě architektry v Brně dlouholetou tradici. Moje technika staví na této tradici a čerpá inspiraci v japonském umění Origami a Kirigami. Spíše než oslavou krásných forem se však struktivně - taktilní tvůrčí proces zaměřuje na studium tektoniky a informovaného architektonického navrhování. Tato technika nachází svoje praktické uplatnění při studentské tvorbě funkčních prototypů závěsných svítidel, jejichž geometrická koncepce je odvozena z výsledků vysledovaných v procesu tvarování papírových struktur.

This lecture describes the structive – tactile modeling method which has long been a tradition at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno. My technique builds on this tradition, taking inspiration in the Japanese arts of origami and kirigami. But rather than being a celebration of beautiful forms, structive – tactile generation focuses on the study of tectonics and informed architectural design. The technique finds its practical application in the students' creation of functional pendant light prototypes whose geometric conception is derived from observations generated during the paper modeling process.
