Energetická náročnost stavby je v současnosti často zmiňované a to nejen z požadavku na pořízení energetického průkazu stavby. Pod tímto výrazem se skrývá množství energie, kterou spotřebuje stavba jako celek (na vytápění, větrání, přípravu teplé vody atd.). Logicky čím menší spotřeba energie, tím větší úspora za energii. Vždy je ale dobré si uvědomit, co pro to člověk musí udělat a jaká bude vstupní investice a její následná návratnost ve smyslu úspory za energii. Podstatná skutečnost pro návratnost vstupní investice vložené do lepšího než standardního vybavení díky určité úspoře energie je ovlivněna vývojem ceny energie, kterou platíme za spotřebu nejen za vytápění.

The energy performance of building is currently often mentioned not only the requirement for the acquisition of building energy certificate. The amount of energy hides under this term, which consumes the whole building (heating, ventilation, hot water, etc.). Logically, the smaller power consumption, the greater energy saving. But it is always good to remember what the man has to do it and what will be the initial investment and its subsequent return in terms of saving energy. A major event for the input return investments in better-than-standard equipment due to some energy savings is influenced by the development of energy prices, which we pay for consumption not only for heating.
