Abstract

Release 1.0 of RollDYN software is a new tool for a solution of structural-fluid problem of rolling bearing contacts based on elastohydrodynamic principles. The computational algorithm incorporates pressure and temperature dependent viscosity and density for line contact problems. The solution approaches incorporates Newton-Raphson method and Gauss-Seidel-Jacobi distributive relaxation scheme. The software includes solver and postprocessor modules.
