Článek je zaměřen na představení plovoucích betonových konstrukcí, které se navrhují ve světě. Úkolem článku je přiblížit čtenáři problematiku navrhování takových konstrukcí a seznámit ho se základními problémy návrhu. V rámci diplomové práce byla spočítána konstrukce, na níž byl aplikován zjednodušený postup návrhu tohoto typu konstrukce. Hlavní normou, kterou se řídil návrh konstrukce, byla americká norma ACI 357.2R-10.

The article is focused on introducing floating concrete structures that are proposed in the world. The role of the article is to present problems of designing such structures and to acquaint him with the basic design problems. In the context of the master thesis was calculated structure to which it was applied simplified the design of this type of construction. The main standard governing the structural design, the American standard ACI 357.2R-10.
