Original Abstract
Unfortunately, buildings are in practice rarely created as expected during the design process. This may be due to changes in the project during the construction, or to poor implementation. Energy consumption of the real building can be significantly different from that theoretically calculated. User behavior and the physical characteristics of buildings and their systems are the main influences for these deviations. This paper deals with a computer simulation quantifying the influence of changes the thermal parameters of a buildings envelope demands of the future energy. Furthermore, it compares the costs and returns of each alternative solution.
