Original Abstract
Measurement of low flows is very important in industry, medicine, chemistry, etc. Therefore the various principles of measurement (often complicated) are commonly used. This work covers one of the possible variants of non-invasive low mass flow measurement of homogenous fluids or gasses using the calorimetric method. The principle is based on measurement of the temperature difference caused by the convection and conduction. The designed mass flowmeter is consists of mechanical parts and electronic circuits. The flowmeter can measure the flow in both directions. The advantage of presented solution is very high sensitivity in low flows, proportional output response to the flow rates in specific range and independence on operating position.
