Original Abstract
This contribution describes an algorithm for the optimized design of concrete structures. The principle of a solution for the problem of reinforcement design optimization in concrete structures is introduced. The target function is defined as the minimum cost of used materials. A method (algorithm) of obtaining a useful reinforcement design (via the implementation of reinforcement types) from an optimal solution is described. A solved example of the optimized design of a tunnel lining is attached.
