Original Abstract
Two new differential filtering structures of the 2nd order that are universal and operate in the current-mode designed using signal-flow graphs method are presented in this paper. Presented filters are also proposed in single-ended (S-E) forms in order to compare behavior of single-ended and fully-differential (F-D) structures. A multiple-output current follower (MO-CF) and digitally adjustable current amplifier (DACA) have been used to design the filters. Ability to tune the pole frequency without disturbing the quality factor of filters is achieved by changing the current gain of digitally adjustable current amplifiers suitably placed in the circuit structure. The proper function of the proposed filters is verified using PSpice simulations. Chosen simulation results of all proposed filters are presented and evaluated.
