Habilitační práce je zaměřena na problematiku rozvoje systémů měření výkonnosti ve výrobních podnicích. Popisuje a dále prohlubuje teoretické a praktické poznání v této významné oblasti na základě analýzy literárních pramenů, zohledňujících aktuální poznatky zkoumané problematiky a realizace kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu. Předmětem zájmu v rámci provedeného primárního výzkumu byly výrobní podniky působící v České republice, které mají zaveden a certifikován systém managementu jakosti dle normy ISO 9001/2000. Obsahově je práce rozčleněna na několik částí, které na sebe logicky navazují a postupují od vymezení cíle práce, definování výchozích hypotéz, stanovení postupů a metod použitých při zpracování habilitační práce, přes teoretické vymezení problematiky, realizaci a vyhodnocení výsledků výzkumu směrem k potvrzení stanovených hypotéz, přičemž závěr práce je soustředěn na syntézu jednotlivých poznatků v podobě návrhu zjednodušeného a aplikovatelného modelu pro měření výkonnosti ve výrobních podnicích. V práci je zároveň kladen důraz na prolínání a hledání vzájemných souvislostí mezi teoretickými předpoklady a reálným poznáním na základě realizovaného vlastního výzkumu. Problematika měření výkonnosti je analyzována a hodnocena komplexně i v méně známých souvislostech, což poskytuje ucelený pohled na danou oblast. Významnou částí práce je vlastní návrh modelu pro měření výkonnosti výrobních podniků, který vychází z uspořádání zjištěných poznatků ze sekundárního a částečně i z kvalitativního výzkumu.

Inaugural dissertation is focused on development of systems of performance measurement in manufacturing corporations. It describes and deepens a theoretical and practical knowledge in this significant area on the basis of literary origins analyse, making obvious the actual findings of the investigated problem and the realization of quantitative and qualitative research. The subject of interest within an effected prime research were manufacturing corporations operating in the Czech Republic that have established and certified system of quality management harmonized to the norm ISO 9001/2000. By the content, the work is divided to several parts, which logically follow one another and proceed from the definition of the work aim, defining initial hypothesis, determination of processes and methods used in inaugural dissertation arrangement, across the theoretical definition of problem, research results realization and appraisal towards confirmation of given hypothesis, whereas the conclusion of the work is focused on the synthesis of particular knowledge in form of the proposal of simple and applicable model of the performance measurement in manufacturing corporations. In this work the emphasis is put on inosculation and searching correlations between theoretical presumptions and the real knowledge coming from the own realized research. The topic of performance measurement is analyzed and evaluated both globally and in less known context that offers the compact view on the given area. The significant part of this work is represented by the own model of performance measurement in manufacturing companies, which comes out from the knowledge coming from the derived and partially also the qualitative research.
